Over 13+ years, I progressed from veterinary trainee to Farm Manager, helping scale a 160-acre dairy operation from approximately 1,200 to more than 10,000 Holstein-Friesian cattle.
That growth was supported by structured herd expansion, stronger transition and reproduction programmes, efficient feeding systems, disciplined SOPs, and data-led management — contributing to annual milk production rising from 13 million to 50 million litres.
